Wee, a new update for this slow, lazy but solid site (like me, minus the solid!): This time we welcome back an old contributor, Steven Scott, who came back with a vengeance and with a plethora of new examples of his anime style. Cute girls, interesting situations, you know: anime stuff. I hope you enjoy!
Then, I shall put some ashes on my head to ask forgiveness for the lateness of my updating of Beb's gallery. I had her pictures laying around for months, and they were exceptionally good too, so I feel bad for not having uploaded them earlier. Still, there they are for you all to see!
Last but not least, there are two novelties over at LTS: A Gallery (it's pretty much linked with the content of SR with a different layout) and a Library! The latter is not linked with SR's fic section yet, but it will be in a future, so that section can begin expanding, too. I neglected it for too much time..

It feels like it was almost a year since I opened up an update with the notice of a new picture by myself... and almost a year it was, in fact. I'm sorry, I don't draw as much as I used to, and in fact, I almost don't draw anymore at all. But I didn't give up, oh no sir, and a cute Lisa is right here to help me get back on my feet again. :) It's a new day... the night is over. But enough of me. This update is a really big one, so rejoice! First of all, I'll open up with the new recruits. :)
A Big Round of Applause and welcome to Leon and Yggdrasill! Guys, your art is marvellous, and I hope you'll keep adding to them. I'm proud of them :) About our dear, Lisa Enamored Gustavo, I can only say... wow man, you keep drawing so much beautiful art, we'll drown in a sea of yellow soon. By all means, I like yellow, so keep on it! And last but not least, check out new art also from Casper, Beb, Rizzy and Dagdamor!

Hi all again!
I'm happy to report that as you maybe already saw, Simpsons Realities has now a new buddie. It's called "Lisa, The Simpson" and in short, LTS. It's been a combined effort by me and Dagdamor, and we're both quite proud of it. You can read about it in the webtips section, feel free to make a visit! And all hail Lisa! :D

Unrelatedly, there is not a big gallery update this time, as I steel need to get something sorted out. But I managed to gather up a couple of goodies from Alex Gustaffson and Black Raven, specially for Halloween (even if I'm a bit late ^^; ).
More to come soon, including a brand new gallery from our friend Leon and another big update for other fellow artists. Stay Lisaed :D

SR is still rocking hard, and to prove it, let's all give a warm welcome to another two gifted artists (or artistress..es...well, they're ladies :D) that from now on will grace these pages with their drawings. In no particular order, here's Rizzy, with her anime crossovers and original pics, and Black Raven, known around at SFWC by a while for her talent and great imagination.
But here goes more: CCD once again impresses us with more beautiful pictures, Suusje and Kathryn keep improving their skills (more from Kath to come in a next update!), while Leeloo makes a great comeback and Alex turns up again... with revenge!
I'm sorry if many of the pictures are not commented yet. I've been sick this weekend, but hopefully come next Sunday, they'll be all properly reviewed. Now, enjoy! :)

Well, once again I was very late (more than 2 months!!) with the update, and for that I ask forgiveness. I won't come up with excuses this time. :)
And also this time, most of the pictures uploaded are sketches. A bit from me, a bit from Omar, one from Casper, two from Suusje and Kathryn, and a bucketload from CCD! His gallery received the most goodies, and for a good reason too, he's a fast sketcher and his pictures are nice. :) We also welcome new artist, Bubble! Check our her pics, they are very colorful and dreamy.
Anyway, I'm sorry if not all the pics are still commented: I'll be sure to go through each one and comment it properly in the next days, so keep looking. Now, 'njoy! :D

Okay, another juicy update. Sorry for the lateness of it, but since i didnt get any mail with contributions since my last update, i had to manually go and scavenge the pics from sites and from GFWC forums. But more on this in the related thread at SR's board. Let's get to the good stuff!

Maybe some of you noticed already, but i was updating the site with new pics during these days, even if hadn't put up an "official update notice". With the new PHPC build of the site, this thing will happen often so be sure to check the update date of the galleries even if you dont see a new update text like this. A pic or two once in while may pop up :)
And as for that, let's hear a big welcome to two new artists at SFWC: CCD and Intro111! And welcome to Graham, Diamond and Olivia (in the various artist section) for their new contributions :)

Hi all people!
This update is really important for two reasons: it's the first after more than a year of inactivity, and this time, it WONT be the last. Second, even though it's not noticeable from the user's point of view, Simpsons:Realities is now fully coded and powered by PHPC, a suite of PHP programming, libraries and code that now runs the entire site and the database that keeps galleries, pics, comments and whatever else.
Related to that, i want to thank my friend Serge aka Dagdamor for having done all the "translating", coding and testing work, besides creating the PHPC suite himself. Thank you man, without you SR would still be in my limbo of tremendous code and bugs.
Well, i'm not keeping you. Go check the new stuff. There isn't as much as i'd expect but i didn't want to overload myself on the first update. Keep an eye on SR ;)

Hi people, just a quick message from the direction: Simpsons Realities is back up until i can finish the work i'm doing on my next project. So no updates until now, but at least you can keep looking at pics. Thanks to Serge aka Dagdamor for the help he's giving me in this, and to you all, be patient :)

And here's another very late update, late and suffered to say the truth. I need a vacation.
Anyway, not just one, but TWO new galleries are gracing SR from this month. All 2 of the artists are russians (title explained!) and both, although they started drawing recently, show very good improving skills, other than being both hardcore Lisa fans.
Let's hear it for Diamond and Dagdamor! As for me, i just have a pair of crappy sketches up, none of them i managed to color... and i fear it might be very hard for both to see that. Hope youll enjoy.

YEah, this is the eleventh update from the time this site started (talking about the actual SR though, not the previous versions). Which makes me kind of nostalgic... i end up thinking at my first steps ever in this field and i wonder if i was expecting something like this to happen back then.
Meh, personal ranting aside, there's nothing particularily new to say in this update. I made a new gallery for "various" artists and jsut one-time pictures, because i couldnt keep galleries with just one pic in it, and i hope that this way more "shy" artists will feel like contributing. So, come on guys, i'm waiting and my mail is always there :D
I did a new, dangerous picture, that you can see in the main art section of the site (theres the sketch too), and contributors are updated as follows: New pics from Omar, Ekko, KANG, Maudie, welcome back to Graham and NightOwl, although the last is not really a comeback :/.

There's not much else i want to say right now. I'm sorry for not having taken care of SR in more than a year, and i think that if ou stopped visiting i deserve only that. I still hope i can get things back on track, anyway...
I fixed some weblinks, colored some (VERY few) pics, added quite a bunch of sketches, not much else. I'm still on hold with the contributions, though, i really need to do a LOT of work on that. It'll be the purpose of the next update. So I want to ask to all you artists again if you can send me a little email ((marcber@gmail.com) with whatever changes do you want to do to your gallery (or if you're new, to be inserted into the section), thanks!

Let's see... yeah, it seems to be everything like i left it. After taking some time to get a grasp on the php i wrote myself (gah, i wonder if i could have made things any more complicated), i decided that it was time to cut the crap, stop playing the angsty depressed webmaster and keep doing what this site is supposed to do... show fanart. So, here's the first update after months of inactivity, and let's hope this time i will manage to keep them coming, at least at a rate of one per month.
To the artists: I decided to do this update rushedly, so don't be afraid if it seems like i forgot about some of you. I couldnt contact you all and i lost a lot of stuff in these times, so i need to catch up. Feel free to coontact me and i'll try to set things straight.
Last but not least, i replaced the Innocence Lost button link with Saxomophone, a site that received recently a very nice redesign... go check it in the webtips section when you have a sec!

As you all probably noticed, SR is going down again (not literally), even after my promises to speed up the updates and draw this and draw that. I know this makes it look like i'm fooling you around, so i'm not doing promises anymore. Honestly, i don't know when and if i'll come back to updating regularly SR, and of course drawing for it. I have still a bunch of contributions and maybe some old sketch i'm saving up by months, and i'll try to find the will to upload them in the next days, but for now, consider SR (and its obard) as "closed". I will still keep any contributions or mail you might want to send me though, so at least you guys dont give hopes up. And feel free to send me hate mail about it, i think i deserve it.

I wish i could explain the motivations beneath this but i'm not even sure of them myself. All i can say is that i'm trying hard to go through it, and that i'm (once again) deeply sorry.

Just a service communication: Des Frink has decided that SR and me are not worthy anymore of showcasing her art, so after her multiple requests, i'm taking down her gallery the harsh way (since doing it the "nice" way would take lots of time that i dont want to waste for this). So it's possible that you'll see glitches and errors in the contributions section, until the next real update.

No comment about the motivations behind it. If you're interested ask her, i'm sure she'll give you a nice, detailed and impartial summary, and i just can't be bothered.

First of all, i'm sorry if this update was so late. In these months i was through a lot of stuff, some good, more bad, and my drawings and SR were too. Contrary to my expectations, the redesign didn't help in shaking things up... though i'm happy that more artists have now the possibility of being seen outside of SFWC. Generally, interest about Simpsons fanart seems to be decreased, (and so did mine a bit, after losing the interest in the show itself), and many good artists disappeared from SFWC lately too(and if you read this, if you have time i'd like if you sent me a mail about it.) I hardly draw "old style" Simpsons stuff now, and i think i might end doing that soon: there are many causes to this, many of which i don't want to delve in. Again, it might be just a temporary downtime, so lets just wait and see.
To prove this, a good part of the new pics is anime related, just anime, or just kinda out-of-boundaries pics (don't worry though, i'm still far from slashy self-insertions). Have a nice summer!

After more than three months of inactivity, the least i can do is come back with a biiig bunch of new piccies, and thanks to the contributors this is an update of around 60 pics, the biggest one in the history of Simpsons:Realities so far.
So, linking the new stuff from here would just be a waste of time, since all of the galleries are updated now. Plus, SR is proud to announce two new Fanartists in its ranks! A warm welcome goes to NightOwl and Steven Scott: thank you for letting me host your works!

Well, here we are. Better late than never they say, and i kinda agree.
I don't really have much to say. The site is here, seems to be working and now i can take a bit of relax. Not much, because as you'll see, the galleries and pics are still the ones i left you with in the old SR. That means they're not updated, yet. Besides, i have still to work on it, it's possible that you'll find little glitches and problems for a while. I'll try to have them fixed as soon as i'll recover.
A big sorry goes to all the featured artists. I'm sorry guys, i wasn't exactly a good hoster. Most of your recent pics i lost during the downtime and of some of you i even lost the contact (Hoshiko, if you're reading this please contact me as soon as you can). I'll try to repair this problem the best i can, i promise!
Anyway, i hope you like this new look. And please, let me know what you think about it.
