Graham Dawson's Inspiration Crate

If this site is here today, half (and more) of the merit is going to Graham. As the webmaster of SFWC, he held my first piccies and got me entangled in fanfiction. The fact that he's a great writer and a very creative artist only worsened things ;)

Maintenance Work
Leela doing mainenance work on the interior of the ship. You see, the whole chamber is constantly irrorated with clothing-reacitve radiations so Leela has to wear as little as possible to avoid damaging the very delicate graphic cards that Bender and Fry use for playing Need For Cyberspace 3 (but she thinks they are flux regulators). Ahem. Anyway yeah, that's why she has to go in with panties and bra only. :P I sure don't mind, as you can see, technically this is an astounding piece of work....

The riddle of Simpleton
And Graham Strikes again with a picture featuring Homer, from an old fanfic of Christina Nordlander, old member of GFWC. His coloring looks really istinctive and detailed, my only problem with it is that homer's hair is too thick. His neck is a bit too long too, but i am impressed with the overall shading. The background, lawn, and the detailed and realistic canvas on the statue and background are awesome! Now go hassle Chris for reading the fanfic, go!

Artistic gunnery
Weee! Maggie! With guns! :D Once again, a tablet colored simpls pic that looks really impressive because of the painted feel of it. Maggie's face is a tad weird, but just because i am used to the trademark overbite. Nice one :)

Lisa Fitzgerald by Graham
Another Competition Entry by Graham. He's done this completely with on the optical tablet, and although its a very simple pic, i like very much the painting feel of it.

Leela, Ami, and some other... people.
Okay, so this is not Simpsons but i thought that the pic was too good to pass up (arf). In fact, i like this animized pic of Ami and Leela a *lot*, the cloring is superb, and Grahams style is all over it without a doubt. It's weird to see the one-eyed girl in other than the groenig style but it works nicely, and the rest is... well, just as it should be ;). Bender (when i noticed him) brought a chuckle to me, and the other people (you gotta balance a bit...) are sketched nicely and represent...

At the Beach
Graham is back! And how! He sayd that for a problem saving the piccie, he could'nt solve some problems with it. Ok, there might be some slight flaw but the quality is excellent anyway. I was surprised by the very welcome comeback, and the break did him good... so wb and keep up the great work. ;)

Brass Lisa...
... and Marge "mad" bouvier! An alternate reality idea inspired by Mad Max-like movies. Pretty unusual to see, but they rock!

"Zen...
... and the Art of Zombie Slashing". The author came out with a great nice title for this awesome anime-style sketch.

Blade Lisa
Inspired by the movie "Blade", this pics will be the start of one of the most angsty and beautiful drama/horror fics around. Child of Darkness is the title... The reading is strongly suggested, even if the content can be sometimes pretty bleak. You can find it here.

Lisa Squared
Another Fic-based beautiful pic. This time the story is Lisa Squared, and it's one of the first and best sci-fi fanfics. Here you can read and review part 1 and part 2.

Armed...
... and dangerous! We all know Maggies attraction for weapons (involving or not Mr.Burns), but this one seems to be a bit big for her...

What if...
"What if..." is a work in progress from Graham that involves a different reality of OFF. Marge is married to Artie Ziff and Homer married Mindy... but obviously, Marge's marriage is not quite what she imagined. And she wonders... He did lots of wonderful sketches to go with it... this one shows a probability. Homer and Mindys kids... Lisa and Maggie (which has brown/red hair, btw). The misteries of genetics! :)
