Diamond's Yellow Gallery

I can't say much about him right now, except he's a Russian fan and artist that loves Lisa: his skills are very good even for a starter, let's see how he improves! ;)

Super Lisa!
Of course, another pretty Lisa pic from one of her biggest Russians fan: Here, cute winged Lisa is trying to be a super-hero (she wouldnt like to be called super-heroin i guess :P ), with the usual arm pose. I think it's really cute, like she's finally gettign a grasp on how to fly and she's wondering what would it be to use it for greater good... Anyway, this is cute. Go Lisa. :) P.S.: This sketch was drawn very quickly, so maybe it's not as good as the author's standards. I still think it's...
Lisa in the Forest
This is still a black/white sketch, but i still think it gives out a very nice atmosphere anyway. My goth-orientend mind would like to tell me it's a dark pic with a foreboding forest and black, unforgiving waters... but then i see Lisa's smile and it suddendly changes to a bright sunny picture of her having some time off with one of her best friends, the Nature. I think this would be a very nice picture if/when colored, but even without that, it has a very distinctive charm. The only thing i...
Mouse Lisa
I admit the title might make you think about another "lisa becomes a cute animal" pic, but instead, here's another standard picture (although very cute and well proportioned) drawin with an unusual method. In fact this little piccie was done in an OpenCanvas session, and Diamond drew it with little pointers from me, only using his mouse. I have unending respect for people that manage to draw well with the mouse... and so, here's the pic and my personal congratulations!
Lisa with Rice
No, i'm not talking of a cute dish... ;) This is really something unusual - at least i never saw fanart made with rice! The subject is your standard Lisa head, but the material is a really original and worthy of praise idea. Cheers to Diamond for it! I wonder how many methods are there that could allow for some nice alternative fanart...
Dreaming Lisa
This was a joinf operation between Dagdamor (who drew the sketch) and Diamond (who colored it). Te result is a very cute (you can't expect nothing less from these two artists! :) )sleepign Lisa in her pink nightgown. The base sketch was cute on its own, but i think the coloring adds a nice feel to it... the colors are warm and the shading is not too rough, Diamond even detailed some really tiny parts as her ankles and hair. The shadow under her makes it look like she's floating... i don't kno...
Lisa's wedding
Another take from Diamond at the cute adult Lisa from the before mentioned episode. Too bad that the head and eyes are bit blurry, because the pic is really nice. Her smile is sweet, and so is her posture of her twiddling with her medallion. Timid and sweet. :)
A Difficult Choice
A really difficult choice... i can't say who of the three kids look cuter here :) Okay, i can easily cut it down to Lisa and Maggie, but that's it... Lisa, as always in Diamonds pictures, looks absolutely happy with her spread white wings, almost like she's happy just by being up there. The idea on Maggie (butterfly wings) is really good and well done imo, and she looks so cute with her outstretched arms. It looks like she's learning to fly before even learning to speak or walk... she sure ta...
Bart Skater
I admit it, Bart rocks too. First Bart Only pic for Diamond and a good one, the only problem i can see is the weird perspective on his arm. But the lines are clean, the proportions are alright and the colors well shaded. Cool!
Heroes
Ohh, this one rocks! And Diamond shows us he can draw pretty well not only Lisa but many of the kids from the show! I like how he "applied" the classes to each one of them, and the distinctions of the clothes and armors. My favourite here would be Allison, she looks both cute and surprised, mayeb at the stunt Lisa is trying to pull. Good background too!
Lisa Fitzgerald
.. and LF strikes again, with one of the most "depicted" scenes of the whole fic: the poor girl being locked in a narrow undersink. THe idea of having her red dress "decolored" aside for the patch was good, and she looks genuinely sad. Let's hug her!
Flying Lisa
And how could winged Lisa miss in a good simpsons fanartist portfolio? :) Here, again, we see a totally happy Lisa, as opposite to most of other Winged Lsia pictures, just enjoying her gift. Lisa's legs are still too long, but here i'm seeing many little art touches that shouldnt go unnoticed. The glow of the sun that reflects on clouds and her wings (i hope she wont be a new Icarus), the blue haze on the houses and background in the dstance that makes us realize how actually high and far she...
Homer
I was unsufre if to actually ut this one up, but being his first attempt with Homer, i guess it very well desevers praise! Homer is one of the hardest characters to draw, and diamond pulled him off nicely at first try. Hats off! It even has a very official art look.
Reading Lisa
Again, Lisa reading on her bed. This one is computer colored and shows a good use of clean outlines and on spot colors. there are still some proportions problems, especially on the legs, but her peaceful expression makes up for it! Ah, we need more "happy lisa" around here.
