Bubble's Fluttery Art

Welcome to another visitor from Eastern Europe, and specifically from the Russian Simpsons Forums! As you will see, she's also a fan of Maggie and Lisa.
I don't know her very well actually, having just seen her pictures. She has developed a very nice style and improving. She colors with a nice touch for the moods of the pictures, using different techniques: it's very interesting to see how she conveys emotions through them.
Welcome Bubble, hope to see lots more from you :)

Lisa In The Snow
Well, Lisa was pretty happy in autumn before, now in a dark snowy winter night, she finally lets her feelings poke through.... i can't really decide if she's sad or just empathic with the white, silent world that's slowly surrounding her. I know that i like to look at this picture, there's a nice mood to it... I see Lisa pulling up her red jacket's collar and keep walking towards her home, or your home... ? :)
Homer's Dream
*lol*! If we take the little comic balloo out, this is a pretty nice drawing of Marge and homer, if just a bit off-model. Marge's hair is well rendered, and i like the touch of having the little "M" as a hairpin. But! But the strenght of the pic is really Homer's little thought balloon... i find his expression, coupled with how weird the hair looks, incredibly funny. I laughed out loud the first time i saw this! Good work! :D
Angel
AngeLisa! Even Bubble takes on the task of drawing an angelic Lisa, and she does it with a nice style, a very happy and joyful mood and quite a bit of tecnical touches of class. For instance, the bright halo and the nice, almost cloudy dress. It sure fits the theme well. Looks like she decided to keep her hair from Little Miss Springfield, too. I really like that decision... :)
In The Rain
A gentle Autumn Rain and Lisa. Works well. :) I like that despite the usually depressing theme, this pic has vibrant and nice colors. Lisa looks happy, too! She seems to irradiate a light on her own, actually... kind of ethereal. Good job, uplifting picture!
Just Maggie
Let's get rid of the bad things first: Bubble, those photoshop lighning effects are not to be abused. I, and i am sure, many others, would prefer just a plain gradient-shaded background than a bunch of lensflares or lighning filters. I know they're supposed to make her look like she's under reflectors, but they're just too many. :p anyway, Maggie. She looks very pretty and congratulations for coming up with a new and original hairdo! Her blue dress looks classy too, with nice detail on thewri...
Lisa Fitzgerald
Aw... another pic inspired from what might have been the most influencing fanfic of all the Simpsons Fanart history: Lisa Fitzgerald. This one depicting Lisa in one of the worst moment for her: And the mood of the pic is given accross very succesfully. From the pose, to the bruises, to the clothing, to the dark background. It's a very well-thought picture, and well executed. Now if only Lisa could be happier... but she will :)
Maggie, 23 Year Old
At first i though, she looks like a drop of water! :) Well, it sure is an interesting picture this, Maggie is showing to be quite the classy woman here: That low-cut dress is actually breathtaking, and the jewelry is shining brightly conorating her enigmatic expression. It's hard to understand what she might be thinking here, but she sure looks pretty! Props for the nice teail on the window in the background. That, together with the colors of the BG, give the pic a warm and intimate mood.
Lisa And The Star
I like the concept of this pic, although the pic imho isnt up to par with some of Bubble's better works in this gallery :) Still i must say that drawing Lisa from the front is a really hard task wich i also try to avoid whenever possible: so, congratulatios bubble for trying and even managing to make her look still pretty cute and on model! Her little blush-circles under her eyes are very cute, and she's smiling in a pretty convincing way. What imho needs work is her body: The dress is a bit...
The Devil
Heh heh, at first i was chuckling at the funny detail of that growling-like moon. Anyway, this Devil-Lisa is surely a nice find. She does look actually quite evil, with a nice expreddion to her. Great shading on the costume/dress and the spikes of hair, too! Also lovely little detail with the necklace turned into teeth-necklace :) The hands would need some work more, but they're one of the most difficult things to draw: you should train with lots and lots of hands-only sketches, like with fee...
Lisa The President
Ah, President Lisa. Another classic! :) I like how you did her hair: Looks original, realistic and well done, also particulars like the makeup, the hair (again) and the little star on the necklace are nice wayis of saying how Lisa keeps taking care of her image even with such difficult tasks at hand. My only nitpick o nthe pic is that Lisa's body is too big if compared with the head. Too tall, in fact, you should either think about a bigger head o shorter body. It's not a bad mistake by any m...
Future Lisa
Oh, Grown up Lisa in a nice, long red dress. I like the good effort put into making the dress look believable, with the shadowing and bending: It's what makes a picture stand out imho, so keep practicing on it :) Lisa looks very pretty, too bad we can't see her completely (the top of her head is vut off the picture): but i like how her hair is of a slightly different yellow and the way she looks back. Also the detail of her spine is nice, makes her look more adult and pretty.
On The Cliff Edge
A Winged Lisa pic is a good way to start off a gallery on SR ;P Color has a very distinct mood to this picture... a pretty dark, brooding mood. Lisa's bright skin and the white moon (i love the way it was colored!) are the only bright spots of the picture. Her wings look different from what we're used to: they do look like a heavy burden to carry, but also they're the usual hope for Lisa's mood to be lifted up. Nice start, as i said i especially like the mood the color creates. :)
