Alex's Itchy&Scratchy Land

Alexander Gustaffson is the "official" artist for Itchy&Scratchy, and all THOH related material on GFWC. That's what he draws mostly, and that is what he is great at! He improved *this* much over time and now his comics and pics have little to envy to official Simpsons THOH comics. Of course for that matter his gallery will hold mostly violent and gory stuff, but it's the kind of stuff you can see on the show and comics anyway and it's always great fun. Welcome, Alex!

Treehouses of Horrors
Very interesting collagepic from Alex, that show our favourite characters in the shoes (or clothes, or faces) of some of the most famous slasher thriller stars! I must say that while i find all these entertaining and well done, Bart as Ash is truly a nice pick. I just LOVE Ash's character in the Army of Darkness movie! Hail to the king, Baby!
Revenge!!
Finally, i always rooted for the cat in every kind of mouse&cat cartoon. Since Tom&Jerry through Wile E. Coyote! And so this picture makes me all happy and celebrative. Go Scratchy! :D Also, i noticed a very nice improvement in the coloring technique and shapes all around. Great work Alex, now that Halloween is approaching, i hope you'll grace all of Itchy and Scratchy fans with something special! Great work, keep it up :)
Pop Culture
Alex says: " This has plenty of odd popculture references. And guess three times who the guy in the grey shirt is. The comics he's holding should be helpfull hints!" Aw, i only counted four, and i don't know who the guy in the grey shirt is either, but the pic is chock full of nice little details! Now where's Wald.. i mean, have fun in trying to get all the refs :)
Marge Vampire
This is a pretty old drawing from Alex, from around 5 or 6 years ago. As you can see, he was into THOH like pics since the very beginning. :) MARGE: No, *I* am the head vampire, hee hee hee!
What are you smiling at?
Brilliance! in more ways than one. The crossover, the reference, and I&S Marge acting indirectly in the pic! The pic itself would be very nice, but i think the color here is also very well done with again some very great comic-like touches, such as the gun shyniness,Itchy's shadow, his missing (ouch!) teeth and the other little details. Hang on, Scratchy!
Jokertchy?
If Batman is Scratchy, who could Joker be? No, not Comic Book guy, but you were close enough. Love this little preview sketch, especially the one where he's drawign his gun. Very ye-olde-action comic like, nice penciling, great perspective on the cannon :) Cant wait to see how this develops.
Batchy!
Well, a crossover... Batman Scratchy. Simple as that :) That extended tongue of his always makes me chuckle somehow. I wonder why... anyway, i root for him in the next installment of Alex's Batman-I&S crossovers!
Billy the Kid Zombie
Here's directly from THOH XIII, Billy the Kid - zombified! If he misses you with his peashooter, he'll just have to eat your brain the usual way. Better run. :)
Extra Fried
One fried brain, comin'up! This one brings the "eye popping out of socket" joke to another level, now it's the whole brain that pops out. Fun :D Ah Itchy, will you ever run out of ideas about how to kill your friend?
Itchy with a Chainsaw
Our favourite mouse holding his favourite maiming tool! Heh, i always like when he's so cute looking in contrast with the soon to come slaughter...
Marge - d'oh!
And here's the same image as before - well, not quite, but Marge having a d'oh moment. :) Againl, pretty simple. But well done!
Leela - D'oh!
Let's start off Alex gallery with his two non-gory pictures at first. They're kind of simple but show that he can draw quite well in a Groenig style and he knows well the features of the faces of characters. :) So, here is Leela going d'oh!
